Rationale

So after completing this project I now have a new found appreciation of what it takes to actually create CG animations.

I had a lot of fun modelling this grand piano. It sure was a challenge, and given some more time I'd love to push it further, both in model detail and in animation movement.

Overall I am happy with my final video, I think the movement is pretty good and I like how there is subtle key movement in there and it isn't in your face.

My favourite scene is the interaction one where the piano goes crazy. I reached a point while animating where I just went "Right, lets make this guy do something ridiculous!" - so I veered off from the rough sketch I did ages ago and just went ham.

In my opinion the animating portion was the best part of this project. You were given the ability to possess your character with a little bit of yourself - given more time I think every piano animation would be more like the interaction scene! Great project! Fun results!
